FOMS (Friends of Music Series) Concerts were established in 2016 as a fundraising effort to purchase a Yamaha G1E grand piano.
Every year since then, FOMS has held some exciting performances to appreciative audiences. As well as featuring the Yamaha Baby Grand, audiences have enjoyed ensembles, vocal soloists, other instrumentalists and even fiddlers.
FOMS and St George’s together provides a venue for local emerging musicians to perform for a music-loving community.
St George’s church space is also available to hire for your own concert, subject to Parish Council approval. We have the perfect venue for your end-of-term piano student’s concerts, or an intimate private recital to showcase your music. For more information contact St George’s Hall Hire Co-ordinator.
